I am currently pursuing my Master’s of Applied Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. I completed my BASc. in Mechanical Engineering with Materials Option from the University of Windsor in 2022. I started working with Dr. Jianu in 2022 during my capstone project. I continued my work with Dr. Jianu, starting my Master’s in 2023. My research topic is numerical and experimental analysis of heat transfer in a rotating hollow rotor shaft cooling system for electric motor applications. I am currently working on an experimental setup in the lab, to validate my numerical simulations.

 

I am also an Engineering Outreach Mentor with the WINONE Office here at the University of Windsor. In this role I visit local high schools and attend various community events to promote the University of Windsor and the Engineering Department. In my free time I like to read, watch movies, and spend time with friends and family.
